EMIL by Helmholtz Center Berlin
An explanatory movie about EMIL – the new energy research lab at Helmholtz Center Berlin.
A better understanding of thin film materials is crucial for developing the next generation photovoltaics and solar fuels.
The Energy Materials In-Situ Laboratory EMIL helps scientists to prepare, deposit an characterise their thin film materials in one ultra high vacuum systhem.
The Laboratory, jointly operated by HZB Berlin and the Max Planck Society, is directly attached to the Bessy II syncrotron witch provides specific xrays to the varios analytc stations.
